How GEAR HEAD GAMES LTD handles personal information on gearheadgames.io.
Last updated: 11 October 2026
Who we are
This website, gearheadgames.io, is run by GEAR HEAD GAMES LTD (“Gearhead Games”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 14332170. Our registered office is 3 Park Hill Way, Wakefield, England, WF1 5FS. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us about privacy at contact@gearheadgames.io.
The short version
This website has no accounts, forms, advertising or analytics, and it doesn’t set cookies. The only personal information involved is the technical data our hosting provider processes when your browser requests a page, and anything you choose to send us by email.
Visiting the website
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. When your browser requests a page, Cloudflare processes technical information about the request, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. Cloudflare uses it to deliver the site and to protect it from attacks and abuse, acting as our service provider. We have not switched on any extra request logging or analytics for this site. Cloudflare explains its own handling of this data in its privacy policy.
Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running a website that works and is secure. Fonts and images are served from our own domain, so loading a page doesn’t send your information to font or image services.
Cookies
We don’t set cookies or use similar technologies such as local storage. If Cloudflare’s security features need to tell people apart from automated traffic, Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie. It isn’t used for tracking or advertising.
Emailing us
If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. We use this only to reply to you and deal with your enquiry, for example a business proposal or a problem with one of our games. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to you, or taking steps you have asked for before entering into a contract.
We keep correspondence for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, then delete it unless we have to keep it for legal, accounting or dispute-resolution reasons. Our email provider stores these messages on our behalf.
Our games on Poki
Our games are published on Poki (poki.com), a third-party website. When you follow a “Play on Poki” link you leave this site, and Poki’s privacy policy applies to what happens there. This website doesn’t share any information about you with Poki.
Who we share information with
We don’t sell personal information or share it for marketing. We share it only with service providers who help us run the website and email, such as Cloudflare, or where the law requires us to.
International transfers
Cloudflare operates a global network, so request data may be processed outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, it is protected by safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information;
- ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to our use of it;
- ask for your information in a portable format, where that applies.
To use any of these rights, email contact@gearheadgames.io. We will reply within one month. If you’re unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Children
This website is suitable for all ages and doesn’t ask anyone, including children, for personal information.
Changes to this policy
If the way we handle personal information changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
